Las Vegas is considered one of the worlds most romantic places to be married.
Getting Married in Las Vegas
Both a Bride (human female) and a Groom (human male) are necessary (you cannot marry your dog, cat, pig, horse, cow, etc. in Nevada)
They should be in love with each other (being in lust and/or drunk really isn't enough)
It is recommended that they have know each other for at least 24 hours (even though there is no waiting period in Nevada, it's nice to be able to recognize your spouse the next day)
Both parties should be consenting adults (It's not nice to force someone to marry you - children under 18 cannot be married in Nevada without parental consent)
They should know each other's first and last names, along with their true age (all will be revealed when presenting ID or passport for the marriage license anyway)
They should both currently be single or divorced (plural marriages are frowned upon and generally illegal - divorcee's need the date, city, and state where the divorce was finalized)
Their joint assets must include at least thirty-five dollars in cash (Required for the marriage license - will need more for the actual ceremony)
They must be alive and mobile (even though there is no blood test requirement in Nevada, both parties must appear at the Marriage License Bureau )
They must have a Nevada Marriage License before getting married (This really is necessary - see Marriage License Information below)
